FITNESS: Day 3 – Pilates Fix Extreme – Just a sample of my workout. I can say that I was challenged! It was different than anything I’ve done before, but I did it. I felt my core and my glutes this morning and I am sure I will feel everything the next day, so I guess I did the routines correctly (I HOPE). 

Using a resistance band for every exercise, this intense mat workout works the entire body, placing emphasis on the core.

 I love an eating plan that I can eat yummy foods and still lose or maintain my weight. Portion-control is accountability and freedom!

It took me a while to cook the steel-cut oats, but I cooked enough for a couple of days. The cool thing is that my family can eat the same food that eat… I just have to control my portion. 😃

Here is the Recipe for 1 serving:

1 cup         water

1 pinch      sea salt or Himalayan salt (Mineralize)

1/4 cup     steel-cut oats

1 tsp.         smooth all-natural peanut or almond butter, no sugar added

2 tbsp.      unsweetened almond milk 

1 cup         sliced strawberries


  1. Bring water and salt to a boil in medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to low.
  2. Add oats; cook, stirring frequently, for 15 to 20 minutes, or until water is just absorbed. Remove from heat. Let stand for 5 minutes.
  3. Add peanut butter; mix well. if too thick, add almond milk.
  4. Top with strawberries.


Container equivalents : 1 Purple, 1 yellow, 1 tablespoon
